We'd like to wish you all a happy new year here at Laptop Repair Base Preston. With predictions of flying cars, this year is likely to be an interesting one. Why not start the new year with a new laptop? Or perhaps you'd like to upgrade an existing one? There's nothing worse than a slow laptop, it can impact your overall experience and intrude on work. Therefore, a new laptop might be the only option, right? One option
Thankfully, there are options available that won't break the bank (especially if you're short from Christmas) right now, there are a whole host of options available. The cheapest and by far most effective option is to upgrade your laptop to an SSD drive, these can be picked up for less than £20 at the moment, there is a price war going on at the moment, so prices are likely to reduce this year. In fact, we've spotted one for £17 online.
Selecting this option and result in 10x faster loading speeds. The difference in loading times and overall sharpness are clearly visible when you upgrade, your laptop will basically run like new. Websites will load faster, you'll notice faster booting times, updates will install faster, etc. Of course, you'd have to manually remove the mechanical hard drive from your current laptop to upgrade, and transfer all your files over to the new system. This process should be simple depending on the make and model of your system.
However, if you'd prefer a more all round option, you could upgrade the SSD drive, increase the RAM, upgrade the CPU, upgrade the graphics card, and update the BIOS. Personally, we'd advise an SSD and RAM upgrade, which is the cheapest and most reliable option.
Whichever options suits you, we, of course can help you with any of the aforementioned strategies, should you require any upgrades of laptop performance reviews, we'd be happy to help.
Happy new year!
