Don't you just hate it when your laptop sounds like an engine? When it gets too hot and your lap feels like it has a mini radiator on it? Wouldn't it be nice if there was a way to cool it down? We wouldn't advise leaving your laptop in an Ice Cavern like in the image above (of course we can't stop you) but with the scorching temperatures we're seeing in the UK right now, this might not seem like a bad idea at the moment!
Let's be realist about this, the best way to stop your laptop from overheating is by looking at the CPU usage of your computer, you might have an update or app using a large amount of CPU usage which could be causing the fan to run constantly.. Or, maybe there is dust stuck inside your laptop that is causing the flow of air to be blocked? This is the most likely culprit, and depending on the type of laptop you have, it may be difficult to clean the fan. Here at Laptop Repair Base Preston, we will remove the fan on your machine and clean it for free (depending on the model of your machine) if the fan is easy to access we can clean it for free.
Again, we wouldn't advise leaving your laptop in an Ice Cavern, most likely your laptop will freeze, you'd then have the problem of a frozen laptop. Again, if you have any problems with regards to your laptop overheating, please do not hesitate to contact us. We definitely don't operate our office from an Ice Cavern, but let's face it, that would be pretty cool.
